I've definitely had one a time or two in my life, and while mine have always been small and relatively unnoticeable unless you are right up in my face, I ALWAYS feel self conscious about it. Nobody asks to get cold sores, nobody wants to get them. Literally everybody I know has had one at some point in their life (you can even get them in your nose and those are often mistaken as pimples), but nobody makes a big deal about it except for BHB.
