Different European countries have their own laws, but they are becoming more strict, not less strict, even in cases where they should be stronger. There is no push in favor of pedophilia, rather the opposite. I have a friend that has taught 1st and 2nd grades for 20+ years and she told me she assigns homework only to see which kids have actual support at home. And yes, she's had parents complain that writing their names 3 times is too much for the special snowflakes. That's the kind of homework she assigns to 1st graders. That, and drawing their family, having an adult read a really, really short story and draw the part they liked the most, kindergaden stuff like that. And parents still complain because Billy gets upset if the story doesn't have robots because he looooves robots! 🙄.
